Baku-APA. The 24th Arab League Summit will be held on Tuesday in Qatar’s capital Doha. The meeting is expected to focus on the Syrian crisis, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hamad said leaders of Syria’s main opposition group will attend the two-day summit. The Arab League has suspended Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s membership and recognized the Syrian National Coalition as the country’s legitimate representative.

The coalition’s recently resigned leader, Moaz al-Khatib, is expected to give a speech during the summit. Besides the Syrian crisis, the summit will also cover the Palestinian-Israel issue, Arab Free-Trade and the Middle East Peace process. A final declaration is expected to be released on Wednesday.
