Baku – APA. Syria’s Interior Minister Mohammad Ibrahim al-Shaar was wounded in a blast that erupted Wednesday near the ministry’s entrance, AFP has cited a security source as saying, The Voice of Russia reported.
The triple bombing, using an explosives-laden car and two other devices, took place in the Kfar Souseh district of Damascus, killing seven people and injuring about 50.
“He was wounded in the shoulder when the ceiling fell in his office,” the source told journalists. “He was taken to hospital but his condition gives no cause for concern and he should be discharged rapidly.”
