The Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific affairs said that some external forces are trying to undermine the friendly relations between the two countries: “But the leaders and officials of both countries are going to enhance the current relations. We are also trying the develop cooperation with the Republic of Azerbaijan and prevent the interference of external forces in the relations between the two countries.”
Abbas Araqchi noted that Iran supports the solution of Syrian crisis only through politics: “We together with Azerbaijan held good consultations in this regard and consider that such consultations will be continued.”
The spokesman also stressed that Chairman of Caucasian Muslims Board Allahshukur Pashazadeh will visit Iran in the coming days.
