Baku-APA. Two soldiers with the NATO-led coalition forces were killed Tuesday in an insurgent attack in restive eastern Afghanistan, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
"Two International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) service members died following an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan today," the ISAF forces said in a press release.
The brief release did not reveal the nationalities of the victims under the ISAF policy.
Troops mostly from United States have been stationed in eastern militancy-hit country within the framework of 100,000-strong ISAF forces to curb Taliban-linked insurgency there.
The latest casualties bring the number of foreign soldiers killed in Afghanistan to 35 so far this year.
