Israel has no intention of engaging in peace discussions with Hamas; the goal is to destroy this movement, Israel's Permanent Representative to the UN, Gilad Erdan told reporters, APA reports.
Erdan emphasized, "The era of negotiation with them is over. It is now time to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure of Hamas and eradicate it completely."
He further stated, "We are currently in a state of warfare. Our citizens are being held hostage in Gaza, and rocket attacks persist on our cities. Our primary focus is on accomplishing our goal of eliminating these threats to our citizens."
