Hakan Fidan said developments threatening security in the Black Sea have further heightened concerns.

Turkish companies continue to operate in Ukraine despite the ongoing war, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha during his visit to Ukraine, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.

Fidan noted that Turkish companies would contribute to Ukraine's reconstruction, as well as to the country's post-war recovery and economic development.

Hakan Fidan said the risk of the conflict spreading remains a serious threat.

He noted that developments threatening security in the Black Sea have further heightened concerns.

"We do not want the war to spread to the Black Sea. Preserving stability in the Black Sea is important. Targeting ports, tankers, and fishing boats, and putting civilians' lives at risk, is unacceptable. All parties must act with restraint and responsibility," he said.
