Four people were killed and 10 others injured on Tuesday after a passenger minibus overturned in Susehri district of Türkiye's central Sivas province, Turkish media Haber Turk reports.
The accident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. local time on the D-865 highway in the Elmaseki-Cokrak villages area, when the driver lost control of the minibus, which was traveling from Sivas toward Susehri, according to a statement from the Sivas Governor's Office.
The minibus struck roadside barriers before overturning down an embankment, the report said.
Four of the 14 people in the vehicle were killed, while four others were seriously injured and six sustained minor injuries.
Emergency teams, including medical personnel, police, gendarmerie, firefighters and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority, were dispatched to the scene.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals and medical facilities in Sivas province for treatment.
An investigation into the accident has been launched.
