Flydubai and Air Arabia flights begin operating through Iranian airspace

Flydubai and Air Arabia flights have begun operating through Iranian airspace, Iran's Civil Aviation Organization announced, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

According to the information, Flydubai and Air Arabia have been authorized to operate flights through Iranian airspace.

As a result of the work carried out by the organization's Aviation Operations Supervision Department and coordination with the General Directorate of Air Traffic Control of the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company, Flydubai and Air Arabia flights have begun operating through the airspace of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the information, this step was taken following continuous talks and consultations with Oman, with the aim of facilitating and expanding the transit of foreign airlines through Iranian airspace.

It was reported that, as a result of numerous discussions, Flydubai has also been granted a seasonal flight permit to use the country's airspace.
