A school has reopened in the Gaza Strip for the first time in 15 months, the Qatar-based Al Jazeera TV channel reported, APA reports.
According to the broadcaster, more than 300 children were in attendance at a school in Gaza City as it reopened amid the ceasefire.
Al Jazeera points out that the majority of schools in the enclave have been destroyed by Israeli air raids since October 2023, while many families with children have left their homes, becoming refugees.
