The death toll from the sinking of the high-speed catamaran FiloJet, which sank a week ago near the Turkish Cypriot city of Kyrenia, has risen to 14, according to Unal Ustel, Prime Minister of the unrecognized Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), APA reports.
"The body of another missing person has been found. He is a man, approximately 55-60 years old. The body's identification process has begun. This brings the death toll from the disaster to 14, while the number of missing persons has also decreased to 14," the prime minister of the self-proclaimed state said in a statement, as quoted by the newspaper "Kybryz."
