At least 356 people have been killed in clashes between the forces of the transitional government and the Druze self-defense groups in the Syrian city of Sweida, APA reports citing Sky News Arabia.
According to the information, 55 civilians and 79 members of the self-defense forces were among the dead. Special units of the Interior and Defense Ministries sent from Damascus to restore stability lost 189 soldiers. 18 fighters of pro-government Arab tribal groups were also killed in the clashes. In addition, 15 employees of the country's internal security forces were also killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes on Damascus on July 16.
