Baghdad – APA. Iraqi government can not find buyers for Saddam Hussein’s yacht Qadissiyat Saddam. The government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said some wanted to buy the yacht, but the government was not satisfied with the price offered. The yacht was constructed by the Danish engineers in 1981. 82-meter yacht is fitted with swimming pools, salons, LCD TVs and a secret escape passage. The yacht can accommodate 28 guests and 35 members of the crew. French authorities seized the boat on January 31, 2008, after it docked in Nice. The yacht remained there while courts settled a row over the ship’s ownership. The yacht is currently in Greece and maintenance work is about finished so the vessel can be returned to Basra.
