"Iran is not providing the necessary cooperation to enable us to provide credible assurance about the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities," Amano said.
"Therefore, we cannot conclude that all nuclear material in Iran is in peaceful activities," he said.
Yukiya Amano expressed his concern over the construction of nuclear reactor and uranium enrichment in North Korea. He noted that most of the nuclear reactors, which are under construction or planned, are in Asia. He said traditional producers like China, India, Republic of Korea and Russia are trying to extend their nuclear power programs.
Director General mentioned that international conference on the nuclear security in the 21st century will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia in June, 2013.
