Iran is going to send note to Germany

Baku. Konul Jafarli â€“ APA. IRI Foreign Ministerâ€™s Deputy in Consular and Parliamentary Affairs Hassan Qashqavi objected here Wednesday to inappropriate behavior of German police against a member of Iranian Head Consulate in Frankfurt. According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs Head Office for Information and Media Affairs, in accordance with a premeditated scenario, last Monday one of the members of the Islamic Republic of Iran Head Consulate who was returning to his home from his office was assaulted by an African woman in the way on a vain excuse, APA reports quoting IRNA. Unfortunately, the German police, too, instead of countering the invader and dealt harshly and undiplomatically with the member of the Iranian Head Consulate.

Qashqavi added, â€œFollowing the event, the ambassador of Germany to Tehran was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and informed about the Islamic Republic of Iranâ€™s governmentâ€™s serious objection towards the inappropriate behavior of the German police against the Iranian diplomat and asked him to reflect the matter to the German government, ask for surveying the matter and presenting the required explanation to Tehran.

The Iranian deputy foreign minister added, â€œThe Islamic Republic of Iranâ€™s Embassy and Head Consular Office in Berlin and Frankfurt, too, have sent objection notes to German officials and are busy contacting and negotiating with them respectively.
