Kazakhstan switches to Latin script

The president said that Latin script dominates in communication network.
“Kazakhs living in different countries of the world use Cyrillic, Latin and Arabic alphabets. A number of former Soviet republics had already switched to the Latin script from the Cyrillic alphabet,� he said.
The president also said that those who do not know Kazakh language will not be employed by state bodies, service sector, law enforcement bodies and court system. /APA/
