Baku-APA. A suicide bomber has attacked an Afghan army bus in the country’s capital, wounding seven soldiers and three civilians, APA reports quoting voanews.com website.
Authorities say the blast occurred in eastern Kabul Saturday, shortly after the attacker approached the bus on foot and detonated the explosives believed to be strapped to his body.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, but it comes less than a week after a multiple suicide bombing targeted a foreign military base in Kabul. The Taliban claimed responsibility for that attack.
In other violence Saturday, NATO said its forces killed four insurgents during separate clearing operations in southern Helmand province.
In northern Jawzjan province, two insurgents died after a joint Afghan-coalition force repelled their attack, while another militant was killed and another wounded by a NATO patrol in eastern Ghazni province.
