Baku – APA. At least one Palestinian was shot in clashes in the West Bank village of Beit Ummar Friday, Israeli and Palestinian officials said, APA reports quoting CNN.
Palestinian officials said the teen was shot during clashes between armed Jewish settlers and residents of the village.
The residents considered it a provocation when armed settlers approached the outskirts of the village, Palestinian officials said.
Israeli police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said a Palestinian teenager was shot and taken to a hospital.
A website for the settlers said a group of hikers was touring the area with armed guards when Palestinians shot at them and they returned fire.
