NATO casualties in Afghanistan rise 40%

Baku â€“ APA. North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) assesses 2010, successfully, though the casualties in Afghanistan have risen compared to a year ago, said NATO military spokesman Josef Blots.

According to him, NATOâ€™s casualties in Afghanistan rose 40% to exceed 700. Besides, the casualties of Afghan troop have also increased.

Afghan Defence Minister noted that, the casualties had soared 34% to settle at over 800.
