Man kills daughter in Iraq

Baku â€“ APA. An Iraqi man killed and buried his teenaged daughter near his house after learning she had intended to become a suicide bomber for Al Qaeda, police said yesterday, Gulf Daily News reported.
Security forces raided the house in Mandili, 100km northeast of Baghdad, to search for Shahla Najim Al Anbaky after receiving information that she had ties to the militant group.
They arrested her father Najim Abd when he confessed, Diyala province police said.
"He said he killed her when he learned she worked for Al Qaeda and wanted to blow herself up. He guided security forces to his daughter’s grave."
Diyala, a mainly Sunni Arab province with significant Shi’ite and Kurdish populations, has seen some of the worst violence since the US-led invasion in 2003.
