Baku - APA. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmad Davudoglu, who is on a visit to Islamic Republic of Iran, met with his counterpart Manouchehr Motaki. A joint press conference was held after the meeting, APA reports citing Haberturk.

Motaki noted that it is real right of Iran to realize the nuclear program and that they move forward in this direction: “Iran will produce fuel for itself. We discussed recent situation with Turkish friends. Presumably the second discussion will also take place. Turkey will seriously help in this process. There are very different spheres of Iran-Turkey relations. The cooperation between the two countries will positively impact on stability in the region. Though Turkey isn’t a mediator in current discussions, it is a very important part of this process”.

“Diplomatic channels should remain open” said Davudoglu.
