Baku – APA. “Taking Muslims as a target while combating terrorism will mar this struggleâ€, said Turkish Prime Minister Receb Tayyib Erdogan during his speech at the US-Islam World Forum in Doha, Qatar.
According to APA, Erdogan equaled islamophobia to discrimination and anti-Semitism.
“Islamophobia is a kind of discrimination. All who have sense and conscious must struggle against islamaphobia. No terror acts are being linked to religious faith of those persons or organization. However, after several terror acts seen recently 1,5 billion Muslims in the world have been under the targetâ€, Turkish PM said.
