Baku-APA. Mexico City Attorney General Rodolfo Rios said Thursday authorities have found the remains of seven bodies buried in a mass grave at a park in central Mexico State, 30 km southeast of the capital, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

Officials suspected the remains, which consisted only of bones, could be those of 12 young people who were abducted in May in a shocking collective kidnapping.

DNA tests are planned and the results should be confirmed in about 48 hours, Rios said at a press conference.

Rios said the bodies were found in a wooded area in the town of Tlalmanalco, along the Chalco-Amecameca Highway, and the authorities were continuing their search in the field in case more bodies were buried.

Eyewitnesses and surveillance videos indicated the 12 victims were filed out of a nightclub in the capital's centric Zona Rosa neighborhood on May 26 by a group of some 17 men, and driven away in several cars, the authorities said.

Parents and relatives of the victims have since held protests to pressure authorities into finding their missing family members, one of which has been identified as the child of a criminal serving a jail sentence.

Most of the missing are from the capital's poor and crime- ridden Tepito neighborhood.
