TASS/. The United States will do everything it can to achieve a lasting peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, APA reports citing NBC News.
"It's going to be the official policy the United States that the war has to end, and we're going to do everything possible to bring that about and to help end in a way that's stable and sustainable. We don't want to see it followed by another war in two, three or four years," he said in an interview with NBC News.
He said that the negotiating process will not be smooth and each party will have to make concessions.
