The US technical team intends to hold a meeting with Ukrainian representatives in Riyadh on Sunday, March 23, a day before consultations with the Russian Federation scheduled for Monday, APA reports citing CBS.
"The U.S. technical team is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian officials Sunday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ahead of Monday's discussions with the Russians," Jacobs wrote, citing sources. According to her, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz will not travel to Saudi Arabia for these talks.
"If progress is made with the Russian team in Riyadh, the U.S. technical team could meet with the Ukrainian team again later Monday," the CBS News correspondent said.
