Former United States President Donald Trump's attorneys turned over additional documents marked as confidential to the federal agents from December to January, APA reports citing CNN.
Trump's legal team also reportedly handed over a laptop belonging to his current aide and an empty folder labeled "Classified Evening Briefing." John Cohen, former acting undersecretary for intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security and now an ABC News contributor, said that it is "customary in circumstances such as this for investigators to search the computer to see if classified material is still on that computer."
The United States Department of Justice first uncovered classified materials at the former president's Mar-a-Lago estate in August last year.
