United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken authorized the 40th drawdown for Ukraine on Tuesday, providing $325 million worth of arms and equipment, APA reports citing Teletrader.

The package features critical air defense capabilities, additional munitions for HIMARS, artillery rounds, anti-tank weapons, and armored vehicles, per the State Department.

"Russia started this unprovoked war against Ukraine. Russia could end it at any time by withdrawing its forces from Ukraine and stopping its brutal attacks against Ukraine's cities and people. Until Russia does so, the United States and our allies and partners will stand united with Ukraine, for as long as it takes," Blinken noted.

Ahead of his meeting with Blinken, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg indicated that Ukraine is gaining ground in its counter-offensive against the Russian invasion. Commenting on the situation at the frontline, Stoltenberg said NATO is gearing up for a leaders' summit in Lithuania next month where further support for Ukraine is expected to be announced.
