The US administration continues to monitor Russia's actions in the aftermath of the suspension of its participation in the Strategic Offensive Arms Reduction Treaty (START), said Ned Price, Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State at a briefing, APA.
According to the diplomat, Washington is ready to respond if necessary.
"We’ll of course make sure that in any event we are postured appropriately for the security of our own people, of our own country, for our allies around the world should Russia take any steps that would warrant a change in our own posture," Price said.
