„True democracy is Venezuelan democracy. Neither the economy, nor political life, nor social life, nor peace in Venezuela can depend on what the gringos write or say“, said Maduro. While the United States is plagued by a flourishing superiority complex, our government guarantees peace, prosperity, democracy and freedom in Venezuela,“ the president stressed.
The head of state noted that “the economic prosperity and growth of a new Venezuela should not depend on anyone abroad, but only on the intelligence and productive potential of Venezuelans“. He believes that democracies should not copy existing models and that “direct democracy in Venezuela is exemplary“.
