Pfizer Inc. CEO Albert Bourla said on Wednesday that the company is developing an Omicron-specific COVID vaccine, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Although final approval decisions are up to US regulators, "we are prepared for that," Bourla told MSNBC while stressing that the firm will be able to adapt the vaccines as the new coronavirus mutates.
In addition, Bourla also noted that people would need to be vaccinated against COVID every year. "I'm pretty sure of it," he claimed.
