Tesla Inc. and Twitter Inc. CEO Elon Musk remarked on Wednesday that he doesn't plan to sell any more of its stake in Tesla "until two years from now," APA reports citing Teletrader.
Addressing Tesla and Twitter shareholder Ross Gerber on Twitter Spaces audio chat, Musk underlined that he will not sell Tesla stock in 2023 "under any circumstances." He explained that his most recent sell-off had to happen as he wanted "to make sure there was dry powder for a worst-case scenario."
Musk underscored that he still stands by his prediction that long term, "Tesla will be the most valuable company in the world." The carmaker's shares rose 3.43% in the after-hours trading, following the comments.
