Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Sunday said the company is making a move against "known bad actors" on its platform by shutting down their IP addresses, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"Should have been done long ago," the billionaire argued, after noting that a small number of people with large bot armies "are in for a surprise." "The bots/trolls generate fake activity, so Twitter may seem a little less lively, but actually it's just that the fakery is gone," Musk explained.
The billionaire has often tried to use the number of bots on the network as leverage to back out of the deal to buy the company.
