United States House Ways and Means Committee released six years of Donald Trump's tax returns on Friday, bringing to light documents the former president had long tried to keep confidential, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The documents may offer new information about Trump's financial wealth, as well as the performance of his business. The records cover operations from 2015 to 2020.
After a three-year legal quarrel, the Democrat-controlled House panel's majority voted three days ago to publish the documents. Trump is the first president not to release his tax returns since the practice began during the Nixon government.
