According to the reports, Armenian and Iraqi banks support Iran’s economy by international financial transfers. Iran-based banking operations in Armenia put this country into the list of suspects. US warned Armenia in 2007 against realizing operations for Iran and accused a number of banks from different countries, including Central Bank of Iraq, of realizing large-scale financial transfers. Current annual trade turnover between Iran and Iraq is $11 billion. Iraq’s another support of Iran is an oil smuggling. Iran breaks oil embargo using Iraq to sell its product.
