Baku-APA. Five people were killed early Friday near downtown Oklahoma city, the capital of the U.S. State of Oklahoma, when a car went under a tractor-trailer and caught fire, APA reports.
The accident occurred about 1 a.m. local time. The five people in the car were ejected and died at the scene when their car collided with a tractor-trailer just south of Interstate 40 on Interstate 35 in the southbound lanes near downtown Oklahoma city, but the driver of the tractor-trailer, who wore a seat belt, was not injured in the accident, according to the reports on the website of the English daily The Oklahoman.
The eastbound and westbound traffic from Interstate 40 to southbound Interstate 35 are closed Friday morning, the reports quoted the state transportation department as saying.
