Baku-APA. Three people were killed Thursday night in a shooting at a nightclub in Dothan, a city in the southern U.S. state of Alabama, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
One suspect was in custody as of Friday morning, Houston County sheriff Antonio Gonzalez told The Dothan Eagle.
Houston County Coroner Robert Byrd said the shooting took place at the Teaser’s nightclub outside Dothan at about 11:30 p.m. local time on Thursday. The three victims were shot with a handgun, and they were struck mostly in the abdomen and chest areas.
The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Ryan Clark Peterson, who went on the shooting rampage after being kicked out of the nightclub. He went to his car to get a gun, before returning to the club to start shooting, according to the reports.
