Baku-APA. An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Kodiak Island region, Alaska at 18:54:11 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The epicenter, with a depth of 27.20 km, was initially determined to be at 56.4528 degrees north latitude and 153.3804 degrees west longitude.
