Baku-APA. The United States is cooperating closely with Israel and Bulgaria to determine who was behind the deadly bombing on a bus carrying Israeli tourists, the White House said Thursday, APA reports.
"We are still working with those two countries and waiting for assessments of responsibility," spokesman Jay Carney said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has pinned the attack on Iran and its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah, and while Carney did not directly assign blame, he noted that Hezbollah and Iran have both backed terrorist acts in third countries, dpa reported.
He did not weigh in on whether the US was concerned about a possible Israeli retaliatory strike against Iran.
