Khojali demonstration in front of the Armenian Embassy in Washington DC

Baku â€“ APA. More than 40 Azerbaijanis and their supporters held a protest action dedicated to the anniversary of the Khojaly Massacre in front of Armenian Embassy in Washington DC.

According to APAâ€™s Washington DC correspondent, the slogans of the protest action were â€œDemand Justice for Khojaly victimsâ€, â€œNo to Armenian military presence in Western Azerbaijanâ€, etc.

This event, organized by local community members, has been coordinated with Washington DC Metropolitan Police and Secret Service.

In spite of the cold weather in Washington DC, a lot of compatriots, including friends from Turkish community, came to support.

â€œThe Armenian embassy was as always filming the protesters, as were Armenian journalists. More importantly, a great number of passerbyâ€™s were there today, visiting nearby embassies, and taking a lot of pictures of the Khojaly protest, stopping to read all the signsâ€, - says the Azerbaijani Communityâ€™s statement.

The protest went on for well over an hour, with constant chanting of the slogans by each and every community. Everyone had a chance to express everything they felt about the Khojaly Massacre and the Armenian aggression.

Similar protests were held in New York and Houston.
