Türkiye's Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and COP31 President Murat Kurum visited the “Urban Expo” exhibition held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports.
The minister toured a number of pavilions presented at the exhibition.
As part of the visit, Murat Kurum also delivered a press statement at the Turkish pavilion.
Note that the total exhibition area is approximately 35,000 square meters, about half of which is exhibition space. Overall, 260 participating organizations from 85 countries are represented across 122 stands and pavilions. By partner categories, 15 are academia and research institutions, the largest group consists of civil society representatives with 136 organizations, while 44 private sector representatives, including 14 startups, are participating. There are also 41 national government pavilions, 10 public sector companies, and 6 local and regional government representatives.
