U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta visited the ABAD trade and exhibition center in Baku on Nov. 16.
Ulvi Badalov, deputy director of ABAD trade and exhibitions center, informed the U.S. ambassador of the establishment the center, its activities and manufacturing of products, APA reports.
Ambassador Cekuta told reporters that U.S. President Donald Trump proclaimed November as National Entrepreneurship Month. He added that this week is celebrated as Global Entrepreneurship Week.
The ambassador said he is trying to get acquainted with the activities of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs.
“Azerbaijanis exhibit works of art demonstrating their creative abilities. Most of them are the people living in remote areas. There are also women among them. This is an important factor. A source of income is also created for women, along with men. I congratulate the people who implement this project. I believe both initiators and participants benefit from this,” he added.
