On September 29, another meeting was held with representatives of Armenian residents living in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan in the city Yevlakh, Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan said, APA reports.
Humanitarian issues, reintegration of the Armenian residents of Garabagh and, in this regard, the reintegration plan presented by Azerbaijan were discussed in detail at the meeting.
Ensuring the free movement of civilians, sending humanitarian aid, and meeting the needs of fuel and food were highly appreciated. The representatives of the Armenian residents living in the Garabagh economic region expressed their special gratitude for the measures taken by the relevant state institutions of Azerbaijan during the fire that broke out near the city of Khankandi, especially for sending the necessary medical supplies, medicines and emergency medical vehicles to the area for extinguishing the fire and providing first aid to the injured. It was requested that the relevant state institutions of Azerbaijan take measures towards organizing mobile communication service, television and radio broadcasting.
Ramin Mammadov, the point person responsible for contacts with the Armenian residents of Garabagh, gave information about the procedures and social services related to the reintegration process. He said that the members of the working group set up for social, humanitarian, economic and infrastructure issues in the Garabagh region are scheduled to visit Khankandi on October 2 in order to address economic, communal and other such kind of issues on the ground.
