A procedure for regulating the work and rest hours of aircraft crew members operating commercial air transport flights is being established, APA reports.
This is reflected in proposed amendments to the Labor Code and the Law "On Aviation" submitted for discussion at today's session of the Milli Majlis.
According to the proposed amendment to the Law "On Aviation", flight duty time is the period that begins when an aircraft crew member reports to the airport (at a time determined by the aircraft operator) to operate one or more consecutive flights and ends when the aircraft comes to a complete stop on the ground after the final flight.
Corresponding amendments to the Labor Code are also proposed.
The draft law was put to a vote and adopted in the first reading.
