Task Force: Returnees from Turkey will be examined, if necessary, will be placed in 14-28-day quarantine

Turkish Airlines and Azerbaijan Airlines operated flights on the Istanbul-Baku route to deliver Azerbaijani citizens who are in Turkey to their homeland, after the joint decision of Turkey and Azerbaijan on the temporary suspension of the mutual trips of citizens of the Republic of Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan by air and land, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

Azerbaijan Airlines will use charter flights to ensure the delivery of Azerbaijani citizens from Turkey in the following days.

“ The citizens wishing to return to Azerbaijan are requested to register at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Ankara or the Consulate General in Istanbul.

The advantage will be given to the following citizens who apply:

- Located in Turkey on a temporary and short-term basis:

- Using the territory of Turkey for transit purposes:

- Having AZAL tickets for the following days:

- Elderly, sick persons and persons with young children.

Returnees will be screened and, if necessary, will be placed in 14-28-day quarantine.
