“State Migration Service (SMS) has not received any appeal on arrival of Syrian migrants in Azerbaijan”, said Chairman of SMS Vusal Huseynov at the press conference held at New Azerbaijan Party’s Executive Secretariat, APA reports.
He also clarified the arrival of the Chinese citizen to the country: "The air flights between Azerbaijan and China have been restricted due to coronavirus threat in China. Besides, the number of foreigners arriving in our country has decreased because the issuance of the electronic visas has been restricted.
The number of the Chinese citizens staying in the country is 539 people as of March 3. 69 of them arrived in Azerbaijan after February 1. If the period of their stay in the country expires, and their departure from the country is impossible, the SMS will take into consideration such situation".
