The head of the Iranian Crisis Management Organization was infected with the coronavirus, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

Ismail Najjar, head of the country’s crisis management agency, was infected with the coronavirus virus, Sputnik reports.

Ali Bakhtiari, spokesman for the Iranian Crisis Management Organization, referring to the days-long absence of the head of the Iranian Crisis Management Organization, said: Ismail Najjar, the head of the Iranian Crisis Management Organization, visited the treatment centers last week after seeing similar symptoms, and after four tests for Covid-19 disease it was revealed that he had the disease.

Bakhtiari continued: “In this regard, Mr. Najjar was admitted to the hospital and was discharged this morning with partial improvement and risk-taking with the doctors’ diagnosis and had to be quarantined for several days at home.

He added: “During this period, the Crisis Management Organization’s actions were carried out through the Crisis Management Department’s deputies, as well as the telephone communication with and follow-up of the head of the organization, and there is no problem in this regard.”
