Excise rates on alcoholic and energy drinks imported to Azerbaijan will be increased starting from tomorrow, it is reflected on the decision of Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan “ On approval of excise tax rates on the goods subject to excise tax brought to the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan” dated on February 17, 2020, APA reports.
The decision will be effective after 30 days publishing the decision on March 19.
According to the decision, the excise rate for energetic drinks has been increased from AZN 3 to AZN 3,1 per litre, per litre of malt beer from AZN 1,7 to AZN 1,9.
