Buses to work until 01:00 a.m. at New Year night in Baku

Buses will work until 01:00 a.m. on their regular routers due to holiday celebrations to be held on the occasion of December 31 – International Solidarity Day of Azerbaijanis and New Year in Baku on mentioned day, Baku Transport Agency told APA.

The Agency advised citizens to go to celebration places by using public transportation: “Less use of private transport means during such kind of cultural massive events paves the way for more quick, comfortable, and safe arrival of everyone at destination. We ask citizens to approach understandingly and prefer public transportation use. Furthermore, “green wave” will be implemented by Intellectual Transport Management Center on December 31 in order to prevent traffic jam in central streets and avenue of the capital.

As well as control over illegal parking will be implemented during the day to provide convenient movement of population.

Generally, Baku Transport Agency will continue its work on special regime for organizing control over transport work during holiday.

Drivers are asked not to cause trouble for other movement participants by parking in places, where stoppage is forbidden.”
