Azerbaijan's Ministry of Education appeals parents on coronavirus

Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan has appealed parents, the Ministry posted on Telegram, APA reports.

According to the Ministry, all educational institutions closed from March 3 to 9.

The reason for the break in the educational process is to implement intensive medical-preventive measures in all educational institutions, located in the country, aimed at the prevention of coronavirus infection cases.

In this regard, you are asked to take into consideration the following recommendations during the noted period:

1. Strictly comply with the main prophylactic measures at home (frequently wash your hands with soap and water or with antiseptic liquid containing alcohol, do not contact closely the persons with cold catching or flu-like symptoms, if you have high temperature or difficulty in breathing, immediately appeal to a doctor);

2. Do not take your children to closed spaces where large groups of people congregate (trade and entertainment centers, festivals, ceremonies, etc.), to any massive events, excursions or travels.

3. Create a condition for your children to repeat the learned lessons and to do tasks. You can use various electronic resources of the Ministry of Education for this purpose (e-derslik.edu.az, e-resurs.edu.az, trims.edu.az, video.edu.az, etc.).

4. Follow regularly official information of the Ministry of Education and other related state bodies regarding this issue.

Note that the first day of the lessons after the educational break has been set for March 10.
