New bridge on Kram River in Gazakh inaugurated

New bridge constructed on Kram River in Gazakh region was inaugurated, APAâ€™s western bureau.
Head of Gazakh Executive Power Rauf Huseynov, deputy director of â€œAzeryolservisâ€ OJS Shaig Bilalov and representatives of region community participated in the opening ceremony. The length of the bridge is 206 meters. It is composed of 11 thresholds, the distance between each threshold is 18 meters. The main purpose of the construction of the bridge was to facilitate movement of people for planting in the left side of the river.
II Shikhli village residents have 360 hectare soil in the left side of the river. People had to pass Red Bridge, and return to Azerbaijan through Georgia for planting before.
The construction of the inaugurated bridge was started in May, 2006. AZN2.6 million was spent to the construction of the bridge. /APA/
