Deputy chairman of State Social Protection Fund Zakir Babayev: 1.6mln. people have been insured in Azerbaijan

Zakir Babayev said that the fund signed a loan agreement with the World Bank.
â€œAccording to the agreement, the World Bank has given $5mln.-loan to us. It is spent on carrying out pension reforms in Azerbaijan, constructing administrative buildings and buying modern computer equipment. New administrative buildings of the State Social Protection Fundâ€™s departments are planned to be constructed by the end of next year,â€ he said.
Zakir Babayev said that 1.6mln. people have been insured in Azerbaijan.
They have been registered by State Social Protection Fund. We have involved 1.4mln. of them in individual registration system. We have already given certificate of social insurance to 1.25 million of them,â€ he said. /APA/
